The Shores on Broadway was developed by The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) in conjunction with the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. TCB and HHDC are focused on building and sustaining strong communities. They achieve this mission by developing, financing and operating high quality rental and for-sale homes, and by shaping community and economic initiatives critical to the communities they serve.
Collectively, TCB and HHDC are the master developers for East Chicago's North Harbor Revitalization Initiative, a multi-phase strategy for revitalizing a historic community and connecting it to a redeveloped lakefront.

Since 1997, TCB has focused its real estate development, property management and community initiatives capacities on revitalizing urban neighborhoods with untapped potential. By using a mixed-income strategy, TCB developments support the local community and attract new private investment at the same time.
